Diane has been actively teaching individual and group fitness instruction since 1995. In addition to receiving her 500 hour comprehensive certification in 2014, Diane completed a 225 hour Discover*Move*Inspire Masters in Pilates Teaching DMI-MPT in 2017 through Austin Pilates Barn.  This 18-month intensive course focused on the most advanced training and techniques in classical Pilates with emphasis on special needs of the body. Through this masters course, Diane was able to train with Lolita San Miguel, the last living elder that was certified by Joseph Pilates himself.

Diane is available for private, duet or small group (up to 6 persons) training sessions using the mat, reformer, Cadillac, chair, and jump board. The studio is located at the Gleneagles Country Club tennis center.

2 The Core Pilates is a private and semi private in-home studio catering to those whom wish to try pilates for the first time or maintaining a certain level of fitness they already have worked hard for. Also, I encourage bodies that have been experiencing physical issues such as: scoliosis, osteopenia, etc to give pilates an opportunity to get moving so they can keep it moving. I create a light and fun atmosphere along with a deep core workout. I am certified through Peak Pilates, and charge a reasonable rate.

Over the years, Colleen has realized her classical ballet background has given her a strong connection in working with clients to correct body alignment in a safe and proper manner. She enjoys being a positive, supportive, and fun instructor, helping others to gain confidence physically so that mentally they can feel more satisfied every day. Colleen has also taken workshops involving upper and lower extremity injuries such as shoulder and hip issues. I have been instructing Pilates since 1997 and was the pioneering spirit that brought Pilates to Arlington, Tx when I first started teaching mat classes at the YMCA.
