I've taught fitness/aerobic classes since 1984, but focused my training on pilates in 1999 when certified by Polestar (1999-2005). I have held a Comprehensive Certification from Pilates Method Alliance since 2012. Pilates will benefit every person from the elite athlete to someone being released from physical therapy. The goal is to start where you are and steadily improve your flexibility, strength, and endurance with a measure of grace to allow for individual differences. 2 The Core Pilates is a private and semi private in-home studio catering to those whom wish to try pilates for the first time or maintaining a certain level of fitness they already have worked hard for. Also, I encourage bodies that have been experiencing physical issues such as: scoliosis, osteopenia, etc to give pilates an opportunity to get moving so they can keep it moving. I create a light and fun atmosphere along with a deep core workout. I am certified through Peak Pilates, and charge a reasonable rate.

Diane has been actively teaching individual and group fitness instruction since 1995. In addition to receiving her 500 hour comprehensive certification in 2014, Diane completed a 225 hour Discover*Move*Inspire Masters in Pilates Teaching DMI-MPT in 2017 through Austin Pilates Barn.  This 18-month intensive course focused on the most advanced training and techniques in classical Pilates with emphasis on special needs of the body. Through this masters course, Diane was able to train with Lolita San Miguel, the last living elder that was certified by Joseph Pilates himself.

Diane is available for private, duet or small group (up to 6 persons) training sessions using the mat, reformer, Cadillac, chair, and jump board. The studio is located at Gleneagles Country Club.
